I recreated some of the enemies by taking screenshots of them in-game, in the Swedish Game, Generation Zero, by Avalanche Studios.
It's obviously not a 1:1 recreation, as the game never really shows you what's beneath the armoured head of The Tick, and when I do take screenshots, the texture on the bottom side is always so dark that I had to make educated guesses. I personally just love Generation Zero. The post-apocalyptic feeling and the art direction is pure gold. The grim and realistic portrayal of these huge honking machines roaming the land sets of neurons in my small monkey brain. It's one of the reasons why I want to work for Avalanche myself. They do what I want to do.
This is the army version of The Tick. It's the smallest and least deadly enemy in the game, but it will ruthlessly hunt the player down no matter what. It sounds creepy as all hell in-game when you can't see, but hear it walking around in the tall grass fields. The army version of enemies is one step above the prototype. So it's the second-worst version of the Tick enemy.
